Ever wonder where you were when Anita Baker came out? Have you ever thought, 'Damn, where was I when...' about a certain artist? If so, listen up. Because the words on this page are a sign post on the side of the road that is your musical consciousness. That sign is simple, it reads, "stop." Miss this album and you will have dozed through the arrival of the next extremely talented R & B singer/songwriter. Singles from this album should become readily available and radio friendly, but the whole album is worth your time. Dred Scott, who may best be known to some as a rapper, leaves that realm behind to co-write and produce Adriana Evans debut album and does a fantastic job.

Each song flows well into the next and takes its audience gently by the hand through the highs of love, the strength of family, and the beauty of desire. This album is the birth of the next voice.
