These guys should be too old to rock this hard. I mean hell, Liv Tyler, Steven's Super Model daughter, is my age. Aerosmith has found an entirely new life creating melody driven, hard rock and roll for Generation Next and beyond. As always the sexual double entendre is everywhere on this Areosmith record including the best cut on the record "Pink" which has a co-writing credit from Glen Ballard, the creative force behind the 14 times platinum Alonis record. Other strong cuts are "Hole in my Soul", Falling Love is Hard on the Knees". Critically, the record does fall into the same tempo swings that you would find one Permanent Vacation, Pump and Get a Grip. Overall, the record gets a thumbs up rating from the Revolution for its overall attitude, energy and hornyness. |
